Horizon Treadmill Review

A Review of Horizon Treadmills
Horizon treadmills also fold, making it a convenient choice for smaller home gyms, condos or apartments.

The Horizon treadmill is not nearly as popular as, say the Proform or Nordic Track treadmill brands, probably because it's not as widely distributed.

It seems like (and this is just a guess) Horizon has put the money into building a quality constructed treadmill as there are fewer treadmill 'extras' like workout fans, iFit compatiblity, etc. included in their treadmills.

Having said that however, a Horizon treadmill would NOT be our choice if you are planning to use your treadmill for long, sustained running. They just aren't built for it. (See Sole or Landice if you want treadmills that can take a beating).

While nothing about the Horizon treadmill overly impresses, if you're looking for a budget buy with a great warranty and an attractive look, a Horizon treadmill is a decent buy.

Horizon Treadmills are generally economy priced treadmills starting at $599 to $1299.

They are also one of the few economy priced treadmills that pack a decent value into the price.

For example, the Horizon T-62 treadmill is a steal at around $799 and packs a powerful 2.0 HP motor, an attractive console and an impressive 10 year motor warranty

Although Horizon treadmills don't top many 'best buy' lists, they do rate fairly well with experts.

The Horizon T20 treadmill ($799) for example is a Consumer Guide 'Budget Buy'. (It has seen been replaced by newer more up to date models)
Horizon treadmills are produced by Johnson - the same company that makes Cateye, Matrix and Vision treadmills.
